It’s been a while since I’ve driven this road. Used to cruise it every Sunday on my motorcycle in order to blow off steam. Also, I don’t think I’ve given Oppo a good shot of the 4Runner wheels on the Tundra. They look much better than the Brotastic Discount Tire specials. I was able to sell thise for what Inbought these for.

I like the wheels. Good looking truck.
Did you get keyed in a parking lot, or is that off-road rash on the paint?

Those tires clearly don’t make enough road noise

That is significant desert pinstriping. The paint has lived a hard life. I’ve only had it for a few months of its twenty year life.

Reflection of a pullout curb in the middle of the desert southwest of Tucson.
There are trailheads at these pullouts so they leave lots of space. Only parking lot anywhere near here is at the Old Tucson studios and they are all locked up. Not sure when the last time that place was open.

Ah yes the ol pullout. I'm surprised it isn't just a dirt strip cleared of shrubbery to allow for "street parking."

These are the stock Dunlops that come on 4Runners.Prett y quiet and smooth ride. They look rough because I just drove 5-10 miles on dirt roads. I have 33” E rated tires on my Jeep and they offer a much louder and rougher ride.

I drove that road back in January before America got sick. Nice drive out there.

I used to do a loop on my motorcycle from Marana through that area to Drexel Heights to South Tucson and back up. Would usually grab tacos at Mi Nidito while on the southside.

Only a few years ago the National Park Service finally gave the second most popular trail in the only National Park nearby an actual parking lot. It still isn't nearly big enough.

Oh yeah. Thanks again for the heads up on fitment and pricing. Ended up breaking even too . Phoenix is a great market for ugly aftermarket wheels. Sold the old ones in one day.

A wise man once said:
“ No more cars in national parks. Let the people walk. Or ride horses, bicycles, mules, wild pigs—anything—but keep the automobiles and the motorcycles and all their motorized relatives out. We have agreed not to drive our automobiles into cathedrals, concert halls, art museums, legislative assemblies, private bedrooms and the other sanctums of our culture; we should treat our national parks with the same deference, for they, too, are holy places. An increasingly pagan and hedonistic people (thank God!), we are learning finally that the forests and mountains and desert canyons are holier than our churches. Therefore let us behave accordingly.”

Those 4-runner wheels look right at home on that truck. That’s a big upgrade from the bro truck wheels.
